Does NJORD GO need permanent installation?

No, NJORD GO is fully portable and only requires a CEE three-phase socket (red industrial connector). Connect and start charging immediately. If you don't have a CEE socket, an electrician can install one — it's simpler and cheaper than a permanent charger installation.

11 kW is the maximum for a portable charger connected via CEE socket with standard fuse. It's more than enough for daily charging — a typical EV with a 60 kWh battery charges fully in about 6 hours.

Can NJORD GO handle being kept in the car?

Yes, NJORD GO is designed for portable use. The IP65 rating protects against dust and water, and the operating temperature of −30 °C to +50 °C handles all conditions. The compact dimensions of 140 × 250 × 80 mm fit easily in the trunk.

What is NANOGRID AIR?

NANOGRID AIR is CTEK's wireless load balancer. It measures the household's total electricity consumption and adjusts charging power dynamically so the fuse never overloads. It communicates wirelessly with NJORD GO.

Why only 2 years warranty?

CTEK offers a 2-year product warranty on NJORD GO, which is standard for CTEK's portable products. Most fixed chargers in our range have longer warranties.
