Both models have identical design and functionality. The difference is maximum charging power — the 13.8 kW model costs 5,990 kr and the 22 kW model 6,990 kr. Which one you need depends on your electrical connection and how fast you want to charge.

Why ZigBee instead of WiFi?

ZigBee is an energy-efficient wireless protocol that's standard in many smart home systems. It provides stable communication with low power consumption and integrates easily with existing smart home platforms. Bluetooth LE is used for easy configuration and app control.

Do I need an external RCD?

Yes, amina S requires an external type A RCD at installation. Your electrician installs this as part of the standard installation.

Does amina S support OCPP?

No, amina S uses ZigBee and Bluetooth LE instead of OCPP. Charging control is done through the amina app and optionally Perific Powerlink for load balancing. If you need OCPP support, look at other models in our range.

What is Perific Powerlink?

Perific Powerlink is a load balancer that measures the household's total electricity consumption in real time and adjusts charging power dynamically. It also optimizes charging cost by automatically scheduling charging during the cheapest electricity hours.
